A weekend escape

We'll spend the weekend with internationally recognized, award-winning singer-songwriter Matt Epp, who brings more than 20 years of writing, recording, and performing to the weekend. More about Matt here.

The weekend is built around tapping into our creativity, learning from someone who's made a life making songs, and maybe even walking away with one of your own.

Winter Songbook takes place at Lush Earth Oasis, a restored Victorian country house about 90 minutes from Toronto, surrounded by 5 acres of fields and old trees.

Between sessions, soak in the saltwater hot tub, warm up in the infrared sauna, take a winter walk, find a quiet corner with a notebook, or do absolutely nothing for a while.

We will do mornings a little differently...

The first few hours of the day can be some of the best for making things - before conversation gets going, before you've checked your phone or your brain has fully decided what kind of day it's going to be.

So we're protecting those mornings.

The morning will begin quietly, with coffee, tea and something light to eat. You will have the option of an early morning creative meditation, a chance to settle in, clear some space and see what wants to emerge. After the morning program with Matt Epp, we'll come together for a generous late-morning brunch, with snacks available in the afternoon and dinner shared together in the evening.

Just an hour and a half from downtown Toronto, Lush Earth Oasis feels worlds away... a peaceful country escape with everything you need for an inspiring and creative weekend. Come on your own, or share a room with others. All prices include 2 nights' accommodation, meals, use of the amenities, and the full Winter Songbook program.

For anyone who'd like more space and privacy, the Jade Room has a king bed and plenty of room to settle in. Come on your own, or share it with your friend or partner who's also taking part in Winter Songbook. All bathrooms are shared.

Shared Room

$825 - $875 per person | taxes included

Shared rooms sleep 3 people, and everyone gets their own bed. Your price depends on the bed you choose. All bathrooms are shared.

While some rooms have bunk beds, top bunks will not be occupied, giving everyone a little more room and comfort.

Single - $825 all inclusive

Double/Queen - $875 all inclusive
